Project Introduction:A certain iron concentrate selection plant in Shanxi previously used traditional ball mills for pre-selection work, with the material being high-purity iron concentrate. They often encountered issues with large material particle size and heavy equipment wear, leading to high costs. The feed particle size for this project is -200 mesh, 85%. The owner unit requires that after re-grinding and re-selection processes, the discharge particle size must reach at least -400 mesh, 90%, and the ultra-fine grinding equipment must have a processing capacity of no less than 95 tons per hour. After repeated discussions and selections, they ultimately chose the WTM-1120 Tower Mill from Shengshi Wuhuan. Although there were some concerns about the wear of the tower mill, Shengshi Wuhuan's tower mill uses special wear-resistant linings, resulting in low wear. Additionally, the uniquely optimized design structure is compact and efficient, increasing the contact area between the balls and the ore compared to ordinary ball mills; the grinding effect is enhanced, and energy consumption is significantly reduced.
